Linda is a signature member of the WVWS and has shown her work in over 100 exhibits in four states, including Tamarack’s Best of West Virginia and the West Virginia Juried Exhibition. She is a Tamarack and Mountainmade artist.

Linda also does graphic design and photographic work and has been designing for Ms. Molly’s  Appalachian Salsa.  Currently working for Marion County Schools,  she has taught art for 29 years at all grade levels.

“My work goes back and forth among 3 themes: landscape; architectural settings; and religious symbols. I work predominantly in water-based paint media (acrylic and watercolors). With cityscapes, the combination of  geometric forms with  the play of light upon it is what presents the most challenge to me as an artist. I am also distorting the subject to create a more active image. My color interests can be natural or arbitrary.”
